    Hi Phil,

Many thanks for the info. Unfortunately I did a proper job and bumped the whole thing! A rebuild would be a very long job. Fortnately I am on the mend.

    Thanks again

    Hi All,

Following a recent bump, I am sadly on the lookout for another Shadow! What I really would like is a Streak requiring some work, but not as much as my existing one needs. If anyone hears...

    Hi Terry,

I will pass on your kind wishes to Mrs A, she always had a soft spot for you but has a 'special' taste in men.
You are right, I should have kept the MW but it is now on its way home. I...

    SHADOW FOR SALE !!!!!!!

I hope it sells for the price he is asking. I have thought Shadows have been under priced for several years!

    Radio installation

    Hi Pete,

Here is a picture on the office in G-MWRY. The radio is velcroed to an aluminium bracket. You will see my Micro Avionics interface velcroed to the side of the cockpit below it.

    I hope...

    Slide Hammer

    Hi Pete,

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the flock. There is no thread on my slide hammer, it just fits inside the pin to centre it

    Hi David,

It is a great relief to see that you monitor our ramblings on this forum.

I want the elevator gap cover for the exact reason you developed it. Would there have been a BMAA mod...

    Pitch Control

I really just want a slightly more effective elevator for take off. I am pushing the 90kg front seat weight limit and don't have the will power to go on a diet.

    BMAA Check Pilot Insurance

I would be happy to pay 10. I'm not sure how many aircraft permits are renewed annually but I would think it would be enough to pay a salary and no insurance to pay if you can get it.

Does anyone have a BMAA MOD number for the elevator gap seal? Is there such a thing? I can only find information for LAA types.

    Leaky Fuel Tanks

    Hi Jan,

I think this is the way to go. I am saving up at the moment. I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship to Johannesburg. They are mentioned several times in the fuel tank leaks posts

    Precision Prop setup

I would recomment trying to get hold of a Warp Drive pitch setting tool. They are very accurate and easy to use. You could borrow mine if you live near Plymouth.
