    An odd sort of Flyout

    Hi Ginge

    Interesting read, as ever.

Your experience reinforces my prejudice against adding unnecessary fripperies to microlights - such as doors.

  6. Met Office provides new aviation service for private pilots

It looks like it will be an app, Marc, so it should be much quicker to load than browsing the web on a mobile device. Should be good as many airfields have a terrible mobile signal in my experience!

    Guy Gratton Article

I stumbled upon this rather entertaining article Guy Gratton wrote for the Royal Aero Society.

Of interest to anyone who has flown an AX3, Thruster or X'Air.

Can you send me pics of the TST upper instrument panel and tailspring?

Sounds like the sort of thing that would come in handy.

Does she start any better using the primer ports, Mark? If so, choke circuit problem. If not, overrich mixture?

    503 Tickover

    As others have said:

    - Check the idle jets are clean
    - Check the fuel level in the float bowls when it next happens (too low, too high, normal?)

The need for a rich mixture at start and now...
