    BMAA Membership

That's your opinion Mike and I would defend to the death your right to hold it. Doesn't mean you're right though. But I'm sad that whenever anyone with experience injects an opinion containing a note...

    BMAA Membership

Very amusing but clutching at straws. Does anyone really think that handing over a cheque for someone to learn how to fly a microlight aircraft is going to be of any interest whatsoever to the public...

I don't post on here these days for various personal reasons, am not a member of the BMAA and will probably never be so again and have no particular time either for it or its modus operandi, so I'll...

    Membership & Election Shock

Sorry Kevin, I'll not apologise. I don't care who it is but I don't like it when people try to talk down to me and I think Richard was. But what the heck, I left the UK partly to get away from all...

Can an SSDR fly to France?

London Information Kev then switch to Lille as you approach the FIR and tell em you'll be remaining clear of their controlled airspace. They have some nice young lady controllers and although they...

    mylar ????

How does that work Dave? Do they bung it in a cage full of tigers and see whether they can get their teeth through it or not?

Sorry everyone.... I'm losing it I think. I'll get my coat.......

    Radio troubles

Yup, I think you'll find voltage and switching incompatible with a Comunica interface. They were only for A2s and A20s I think and you won't be able to adapt it.

Kev, being a proper hairy a**ed engineer and from Yorkshire to boot, not only gets it right but would never do that :yeah:

Nice one Kirk. Keep going and try to keep it going. Let wisdom prevail ;-)

Very best wishes to you and everyone at Stoke esp The Barbasher who I hope is getting back to his usual grumpy self....

    Radio troubles

I may be wrong and it needs someone like Paul Lintott to come along and give us the real facts, but I think you may find that your Comunica set up is incompatible with your transceiver, period. I got...

  16. Initiatives for boosting membership and the profile of microlighting

Only after I've taken you, Andy. Someone was telling me only a few days ago that you're actually quite a nervous soul when it comes to landing..... That right? ;-)

    Very best wishes,

Peter Jones, what a load of horse manure. Can I suggest that you find out a few facts before sounding off and giving people a piece of what is clearly a mind of very limited capacity. You obviously...

    Cutting Lexan sheet

The beauty of scissors compared to tin snips is that you have control of the blades in both directions and that makes all the difference to getting fine, accurate cuts. Everyone has had experience of...

    Attitude reference for iPhone/iPad

Let's just look at this sensibly. So you've just had a 'sudden white out' - apparently it happens in all sorts of hostile places in the UK - hilly areas, places like that. So what do you want this...
