One dead in microlight crash, Devon

That is so sad. The aircraft looks a complete wreck from the pictures; my thoughts are with the friends and relatives of the crew.

CAA Announce change to check flying policy

    My thoughts precisely Dave.

    John

ps Geoff, maybe the committee members should read the forums rather than everyone of us having to email all the committee members with our thoughts?

    Low rpm flying

It will only invoke unreliability Peter. The plugs for an engine are chosen to match the temp. range of the engine; if you insert different temp range plugs into the engine you are basically saying...

Joan - maybe that's why they call it the "Jabiru 2200A" it's at 2000-2200 rpm :-)
Peter - any vibration that doesn't feel right is suspect :-(

Another indication of something wrong is that I would have expected a better fuel economy than that if you're cruising at 3,000 rpm. :-( It's probably just something...

Less revs, less wear Peter. You use max revs on take off or climbing? I'm surprised at such a low rev for cruising though. As long as temps are normal the engine is fine.
