    Double fatality in Scotland

Tragic that we have lost two people in another aviation related incident... My heart goes out to those left behind.

Although nothing to do with the incident because I don't know if these guys were...

According to other forums Peter Kelsey. Bloody lucky to get away with it by the look of the wreckage!

    Get well soon!

Anyone made an Oil Filter Cutter

Don't the side cutting can openers need approval first Terry, on an individual basis? LOL!

    Permit stickers?

Just had my shiny new permit arrive but no airframe sticker, are they still issuing them?

    Cheers

So is this a green light for all UK Tanargs to retro-fit John?

I was with Paul a week or so ago and he said approval was getting close

    Look at this for STOL

There's a fair breeze in both clips (You can hear it on the tape). Still fairly impressive though ;-) Flaring for the hillside landing must be interesting, guess it'd be look out the side window...

    Kitfox handling

I used to love the display put on by the Kitfox at Sun and Fun every year. Low level low energy aerobatics, it was a joy to watch :-)

    Mr Funnel Fuel Filter Funnels

Cans are normally full, awaiting pouring into aircraft tank, thus allowing no condensation. When they're empty you can also, unlike jerry cans, see into them to check for residual debris.

    Mr Funnel Fuel Filter Funnels

Condensation in plastic jerry cans, what about plastic fuel tanks in the aircraft?

They're as strong as you like as well. Every motocrosser built today has a plastic fuel tank, as have most cars....

    Mr Funnel Fuel Filter Funnels

I refuse to use Jerry cans because of the flaking. You can get some cracking plastic units now that do not flake inside. Fuel approved as well ;-)

    Concorde Reborn?

I did hear it would never be possible to re-activate the BA airframes as the hydraulic systems were drained and not inhibited. Don't know how
    close to fact this is?

    Terrafugia Transition

Fantastic bit of kit, what about a "Tesco" trolley down the wing or a minor roundabout/junction "crunch"... Would you honestly let, or indeed want to see, half the muppets drivers, indeed 5%, today...
