    Cost of a wing

Not that there is anything wrong with my current wing, but I was just pondering what the cost would be of a new Blade wing. Anyone bought one recently?

    Cost of a wing

After damaging the underside of the wing I received the following from P&M.
"A new sail costs 2515.28 plus VAT. We are able to replace panels on their own. The sail would need to be removed for this. A strip and rebuild costs 324.50 plus VAT plus the sail work which would be around 250 plus VAT. If the sail is damaged the tubes in the region of the damage also need checking for any dents etc"

I ended up having the wing stripped, inspected and the sail panel replaced. In the process of the wing strip they found cracking on the Crosstube spar attachment bolt holes (a known problem on Blade wings that are stored fully rigged!!). The replacement cross tubes were 209 + VAT each

All this was done in a week, and the P&M service was faultless
