My inspector commented on the state of the seals at the time of the last permit inspection, they had hardened and cracked in places, these are the seals on the forward end of the air intakes attached to the heads. I cut an old 6" inner tube into two strips and glued the strip on top of the old seal leaving about an inch sticking forward, I tacked in place with super glue first to get the fit right then epoxied to ensure a good strong fix, now when the front top cowl is fitted I run my finger inside the air intakes to make sure the seal fits into the recess, full air flow now restored.
