A very good piece of work by FASVIG

6.5.2 is just one of the interesting bits.

Clearly a lot of time and effort has been put into producing a comprehensive and simple to understand report. It deserves to be fully considered by the CAA and if not, somebody ought to blow the whistle on the 3 billion that has been provided, largely in order to prevent such airspace grabs.

Lots of confusing small area maps and no indication that the area is broadly the same. Keep grinding away in the hop that people will be bamboozled. They stand to have the least busy airspace in Britain, in spite of the aims of FASVIG.

I and several 'Southern Flyers' in Sussex have just sent off their e-mailed comments. It's not difficult just explain the bits you don't like.

e.g. Loss of the N/S gap near Bagshot mast between Farnboro' and Heathrow zone.

Large grab claims for little real traffic now and few pax, also their projections for growth are a scam.

General lowering of ceilings for GA.

Existing 'ATC' service can't cope even with useless Basic Service; think how obstructive they could be when they try especially if/when you ask for a transit etc. etc.

Your safety and/or not upsetting the public below is one of the least things on TAG's agenda which is all about making money by smarming their way to control of the south and south east of England.

Do something, however token today is the deadline.

You and your efforts are needed for us and future enthusiasts.
