    tank connector

hi has anyone got a spare quick release tank connector for the underseat tank for a flash one. I've had a bit of trouble with mine and have changed the o ring but think it is maybe worn. P and m no longer supply these anymore, if anyone has got one drop me a pm. Thanks dave

I could do with replacing the same component, so if anyone knows where to get one I would certainly like to have that information.

Maybe a scrat around the chandlers is in order ?

I hope to purchase a 65l tank at some point this year to replace my 2 tanks, so my underseat connector will become surplus to requirements. All I need now are some donations to make this happen.

I'm pretty sure they're standard Yamaha outboard motor fuel tank connectors, as I remember from my old Flash 2, like this?

    Hi,
I have a 65ltr tank to fit to my Alpha, sometime soon, when the snow clear away enough to get up to the hangers....
so i will have spare ones if needed

    Bobby,

I'd be interested in taking the spares off your hands  Where do you fly from ?

Also keen to hear how your tank conversion is going or went.

I am quite interested in converting my tanks to 65ltr but not at 20% of the aircrafts value.

Maybe we can ask P&M for a 'tank' discount if enough of us are interested ?

    cheers

    Simon.

    tank connector

    Hi Simon,
i am going to try and get it done over the next weekend mate.
The Snow has kept us away from the airfield from Mid Dec.. But got back up at the weekend,
I was lucky and got a second hand one for 200 including Skirt... so.
There is a guy who has fitted one, and is going to give me a hand.. so will let you know how it goes...

I fly from Balado in Scotland mate,

Should be able to take the connector off the second tank, and i only use the rear tank at the moment, due to my plane been semi rigged...
Easier than tanking it out everytime

    Cheers
    Bobby

Yep I know Balado, near Loch Leven ? unless there are two Balado's ??

I did a Lands End to John O'Groats by motorcycle late last year and we passed not too far from Balado but took the A9 to Stirling instead of the M90 down.

Nice part of the world !
