  • engine link is faulty

Someone on the SSDR 'Hirth' thread was looking for a tuned Briggs

I cut and pasted this link froim the Soloflight webpage

    http://www.soloflightltd.com/SOLO35%20V%20TWIN%20ENGINE..html

    Didn't work!

    Shortened it to http://www.soloflightltd.com

and advised him to select the engine link.

    Are you losing business Paul?

      engine link is faulty

Couple of things going on there:
      • The link in the forum has fallen foul of 'double-escaping' .. all the escapes (%) get escaped again (visible in the address field when the error is reported)
      • However, if one cut and pastes the link as displayed, it works
      • On the other hand, if one makes the 'obvious' correction of reducing the double-dot before the 'html' to a single dot, then the URL does not work.

              Hi Graham,
What browser are you using? also can you clear your cache (right click and chose reload) to make sure you are not picking it up from a stored page? Its working for Kev now.
              Thanks.
              Cheers Paul

                        engine link is faulty

This link to that page should be clickable from here:

                        http://www.soloflightltd.com/SOLO ENGINE..html

                        mfc

(Fifth attempt lucky. The trick is to use the 'Link' Icon on the post reply page, paste in the link, and then replace any '%20' with a blank in that dialogue box. Trivial, eh? :shakehead: )

It's not pity I need, it's my own aircraft..... though I am enjoing my share in the Thruster T600N Jabiru Sprint, just wish I could afford to fly it more often.
