  • Blade damaged on 4 Blade Warpdrive Prop on 582

    Hi,
I've got a damaged prop Blade. Does anyone have any lying around? I've been quoted rather a lot from P&M for a new one from the states, so I'm hoping there's one out there somewhere.

    Cheers,

    Ian

    Ian,

There is a 2 blade prop for 200 ono on AFORS.

Would these blades be the same as yours and thus provide a replacement and an additional spare?

      Hi Alan,
I doubt it would be the same. Also the 4 srokes spin the other way to the 2 strokes so it's important I get one off a Blade 582.
      Cheers,
      Ian

Ian - how damaged is it? I took the corner off one blade in long grass at Baxby once, and filed the opposite blade to match, and everything was fine

Thanks to everyone who has responded. Dave has agreed to flog me his spare which is great. It really does show the power of these forums!

As a finish to this tale, it turns out whatever damaged the prop also made a mess of the lower wing! I didn't see it straight away, and only discovered it in better light today. It looks like it will need an insurance claim :-(.
