  • XAir Choke Lever

Hi I've asked XAir UK and await an answer but thpought I might try the forum. Anyone got a working choke lever for XAir please? Mine has lost any 'friction' so won't stay on at all and I can't find a motorbike one that is big enough to go round bar and with the right way to hold the 'nipple' on end of cable. MANY thanks Terry

Hi, I had a similar problem on mine, I'm guessing you already tried tightening the big screw in the middle of the lever ? Worked for me. If that didn't work, have you tried Xair Ireland ?

    Kind regards M

Hi Mark Yes tried that thanks. Worked for a couple of weeks but the plastic mechanism inside is worn almost smooth! Thanks Terry

Ah darn. Could you put a piece of friction material of some sort between the halves of the leaver and re-assemble ? The choke lever is probably off some form of Indian moped/auto rickshaw. Pretty much all the other bits like that are

Ah, OK. Well Seamus at Xair Ireland is another good option for bits.
