I think Kev's little act of charity which he records [here] in a different context deserves mention on this thread too. Not all charity involves fundraising.

I saved a hedgehog this week. Does that count?

You mean little acts of kindness, such as telling others of a persons charitable act that would have gone unnoticed?

    John

No little charitable acts to report then? Only headline grabbers?

    Anybody?

    No? Ah well.

While the large and spectaclar fund-raising events are very important, I think we shold be able to celebrate the little acts on this forum, too.

As an example, I recently had cause to offer a refund for a trial lesson voucher (illness prevented him taking the flight and he didn't know anybody who he wanted transfer it to). He refused and told me to give the mony to charity.

Only a little donation, but a cheque and a mention of his wish have gone to Childhood First for their centre near Norwich

Any other little acts of kindness? Post them on this thread too.
