    How about making the status of Afilliated Clubs clearer and more beneficial to such clubs? At the moment there is no benefit at all as far as I can see, just a requirement to insist that all members are also members of the BMAA. What do they get in return for that? Zilch.

      I also suspect that many of the lurkers on there will contribute to that desired critical mass since the common sense and microlight related topics on here are very much more relevant to the greater membership of the BMAA. One quick scan of the overall forum has warmed the cockles, much in need of warming after ripping the Rotax out of my Shadow in a freezing hangar and talking to Skydrive about a replacement :-(

      As for clubs, Richard Tosswill has made a very valid comment on the BMAA membership thread on the number of "one man Microlighting clubs" out there too.
