      Terry
in my lockyears guide the airfield is exactly described as

"Rosemarket airstrip (Dawn till dusk Golf course)"

      so R A D T D G or C !!

Should'nt be too hard to get another G if needed.

      all the best

Had a private message from a member about airfield names and what is acceptable. This is the message with some bits taken out to avoid naming the person:

Infract I have been learning so I have not put in the message only airfields or places you have permission to land at count and its only the first letter of the first word that counts, if itís the IOW Sandown then that could be an I if you type IOW Sandown or an S if you just type Sandown. If you happen to land at Victor acceptable vomit golf club, then this would be a V as you canít use letters from others words even if it is the first letter.

Sorry Roger can not include :Rosemarket GOLF course as a G only as its an R only.

Thanks for clearing that up Brian.
What about all the airfields that end in "farm"
can you use one of them as the F ?

By the way, where is Victor acceptable vomit golf club,
because I need an undisputed, genuine V that's open to all.

            Hello
            Brian

Thats fair enough, i wont use the G as you indicate. However, the correct official title as described for Rosemarket, is "Rosemarket Airstrip". Therefor can i use the A as in airstrip? Is it just the first letter of any of the airfields words, or just the first letter of the first word. So compton Abbas counts as just C or also as an A?

please confirm, as i have use F for farm as well

I'll find another G, perhaps Guernsey, Alderney and Jersey, as i need a J as well, and that's a really tough one!

Stop getting upset Mr Munday, I have 2 airstrips and one of them is now a V but just in case you cant use the name only the place then I am going to Velcourt as a backup just in case. hopefuly tomorrow I will have another five letters.

I struggled to pull the skin off the rice pudding I had for lunch today.

So theres no way I'm going to be able to fly into Southampton.

                I Can't see how I'm going to get a genuine V, J or U ?

Hello Roger its only the first letter of the first word so Rosemarket Golf Club would be R only but if it has another name then you could use that, so your R could become an F if you put Furze Hill Farm assuming itís the Rosemarket Golf Club in Pembrokeshire

If its not available then how is anyone else going to land there?? I thought this competition was open to all, its a bit like that Valence, Most of the flexies dont have Transponder and with entrance into Vally only at weekends a heck of a lot of fliers have no chance whatsoever of getting all the letters.
