    This is just to test/demonstrate a quirk ...

    .... when a post is edited ...

    Out of sequence ...

    I thought there'd be a 'post edited by' line added.

    But it didn't get added until I edited the second post?

    However, what I was trying to show was that the format of the date in the "Edited" line is different to that of the post (USA rather than UK format). However it won't show until tomorrow ...

      There's a two minute grace window where if you edit the post within that time, it won't show and edit comment - probably to do with the most common type of repost, spell check corrections.

      You are right though, in the New Post method, the date is added by the GETUTCDATE method in T-SQL, whereas the Edit Post uses D[2]ateTime.UtcNow.ToString in the VB Runtime and difference is a formatting inconsistency. One is stored as a date data type in the db (post date) and the other is converted to a string and stored in the text of the post.

        Can we please have all dates displayed in UK format, day month year, and not the illogical American, month day year.
